Ask for references! And ask if they’re a member of the local trade association such as the FRSA (Florida Roofing, Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors Association)?
It’s important to realize that all roofs are NOT created equal. Make sure their representative will sit down with you and explain in detail the different options of quality and warranties available
Always make sure that one of those alternatives includes a manufacturer’s guarantee or warranty.
Check to see if their workman’s comp, licenses and general liability insurance are all current and up to date. (Our workman’s compensation is in accordance with Florida statutory limits. Our general liability policy is $1,000,000 per occurrence, $2,000,000 aggregate)
Ask about credit cards accepted, check policy and financing options provided. (We accept all credit cards and checks. In addition, we offer 12 months same as cash options and other flexible financing options.)
Upon completion of the work, make sure you receive both the Labor Roofing Warranty plus the Manufacturers Material Warranty.
